Preparing for your discovery call

A few questions to help you get more from a first conversation.

A conversation about paperwork at an office table

Start with what matters

Write down the reason you are getting in touch. It might be a change in your working life, a family priority or simply a wish to understand your current arrangements. You do not need a polished brief.

Bring your questions

Ask what the service covers, who you would work with, how fees are explained and what would happen next. Note anything you would like explained in everyday language.

Keep the first outline simple

A short description of your situation is enough for the request. Do not send bank details, account numbers or personal documents through this demo form. A real practice should explain a suitable way to share information later.

Take time after the call

Keep a note of the proposed next steps. Ask for clarification if you are unsure what has been offered. A discovery conversation is a chance to understand the process, rather than a personal recommendation.
